The bottled water they distributed was far better than tap in taste and wherever we got it from (bars, restaurants, etc) it was always cold. Sandals (and Beaches) have continued their efforts in controlling water born viruses with the exclusive use bottled water throughout the resort (started in 2015). We have stayed at about half of the Sandals Resorts (Bahamas, Grenada, Montego Bay, Royal Caribbean, Negril, South Coast, and Antigua), as well as both Beaches resorts (5x total) and about 8 other all-inclusives plus a few traditional resorts in the Caribbean before, and the experience at Royal Barbados was better than the best of those. We were guests at the Sandals Royal Barbados from 8/24 to (I know the review is a little tardy).
